Organist and/or Pianist Wanted
We are seeking an organist/pianist and a choral accompanist to provide strong leadership for congregational singing and accompaniment for volunteer choir.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Participate in a rotating schedule with one or two other organists to provide strong leadership for congregational singing in Sunday morning services and special services during Lent/Holy Week/Christmas.
-Accompany the choir during Wednesday evening rehearsals (late August-May) and participate in selected services.
We are a congregation of 75 to 100 in attendance at each of two Sunday morning services. Worship services include playing a Baby Grand Piano and/or a digital Allen Renaissance Organ.

Trunk or Treat
Friday, October 26th at 5:30pm
Join us for Fun, Food, Fellowship, and Candy
Festivities begin with hotdogs, chips, and other food from 5:30 to 6:00. At 6:00, there will be door prizes and other announcements.
Then the Trunk or Treating begins at 6:15pm and ends around 7:00pm. Cars should be ready and in place by 6:00pm with enough treats for 75-100 kiddos.
Sign-up sheet for car spots may be found on the What’s Happening Bulletin Board. ALL AGES are invited to participate in this fun outreach to our church and community.
Affirmation of Baptism/Rite of Confirmation
Sunday, October 28th
Brandon Zachery Berisha, Aliyah Nicole Cabacungan, Thomas J. Healey, and Enzo Michael McClelland have completed Confirmation and are ready to make their Affirmation of Baptism on Sunday, October 28, at 10:30 AM. Join us that morning at 9:15 AM for a Continental Breakfast to honor these young people as they take the next step in their faith journey.
All Saint's Day
Sunday, November 4th
We will celebrate All Saints Sunday with a display of candles in remembrance of those who have died in the past year. If you would like a candle added for someone who was NOT a member of Christ the King, but died in the past year, please call the church office before November 1st. We will also have votive candles available during the service for everyone to light remembering anyone who died.
We are celebrating our loved ones through pictures. Please feel free to bring unframed pictures (or a color copy) by November 3 to be included in a memorial display. Please be sure to include information on the back of the picture about whom the picture needs to be returned to.
Harvest Sunday Potluck
Saturday, October 13th at 5:30pm
We will be gathering to thank God for the bounty he has bestowed upon us with a Harvest Potluck following the 10:30 Worship Service in the Parish Hall. Turkey, gravy, iced tea, coffee, and lemonade will be provided. We ask you to sign up on the Fellowship Bulletin Board to bring a salad, vegetable, dressing, potatoes, or dessert.
The Women of the ELCA will sell cards and crafts at the Harvest Potluck so it is a great time to buy your Items for Christmas presents.
