All Saints Sunday
Sunday, November 3rd at 8:00 and 10:30am
We will celebrate All Saints Sunday with a display of candles in remembrance of those who have died in the last year. If you would like a name listed it the bulletin and a candle added for someone who was NOT a member of Christ the King, but died in the past year, please call the church office before October 31st.
We will also have votive candles available during the service for everyone to light remembering anyone who died before November 2018. We will also celebrate our loved ones through pictures, which will remain posted throughout the month of November. Please feel free to bring unframed pictures (or a color copy) by November 1st to be included in our memorial display. Please be sure to include information on the back of the picture about whom the picture needs to be returned to.
Sunday, November 3rd
We will be gathering to thank God for the bounty he has bestowed upon us with a Harvest Potluck following the 10:30 Worship Service in the Parish Hall. Turkey, gravy, iced tea, coffee, and lemonade will be provided. We ask you to sign up on the Fellowship Bulletin Board to bring a salad, vegetable, dressing, potatoes, or dessert.
The Women of the ELCA will sell cards and crafts at the Harvest Potluck, so it is a great time to buy your items for Christmas presents. For more info, see page 4 in this newsletter.

RACAP Thanksgiving Service
Thursday, November 21 at 7:00pm at Christ the King
We continue our tradition of giving thanks by joining our brothers and sisters in Christ who are our partners in supporting RACAP. Christ the King will host the Thanksgiving worship service this year. Following the service, refreshments will be served in the Parish Hall. Please join us as we meet to thank God for His many blessings. If you can help us by providing some refreshments for following this service, please let us know. The RACAP Board will be providing most of the items. However, they could use some help with cookies or brownies or mini sandwiches, etc. Any questions, contact Leona Hietala, Barbara Kovacich.
